Item Details

  • MSA V-Gard® Black / Red / Silver Protective Rally Cap with Fas-Trac® suspension is made from high quality, wear-resistant materials and helmet shells are constructed with molded plastic and nylon webbing to provide durability as well as protection. Lightweight cap is ideal to render head protection with industrial-strength by featuring slots that adds protection with custom comfort. It comes in variety of colors and designs includes painted look, patriotic and also offers custom imprinting along with striping. Cap finds its application in food processes, asbestos abatement and painting. It delivers high visibility and a metallic gold option for ceremonial purposes and/or worn on the job by featuring hi-viz option that exceeds ANSI 107 standard. Reverse donning logo can be used to find out whether your hard cap has worn backwards without voiding approvals. It complies with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 and CSA Z94.1-2005 for class E, ANSI type I specifications. It is designed to use only with MSA suspensions.

Caution

  • MSA’s Vanguard Type II protective helmets are so designed and must be used if lateral protection is desired
  • Do not mix suspension and helmet size. Make sure the sizes match use only MSA suspensions on an MSA caps or hats. Failure to comply will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective hat or cap
  • Use only MSA suspensions on an MSA helmet. Failure to comply with the above will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death
  • V-Gard Caps and Hats are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side, or rear
