- Norton® Metalite® R215 Extra Coarse Grade 36 Grit X Weight Portable Belt measuring 3" X 24" is made from aluminum oxide abrasive material and is designed for use with belt sanders. Open coat belt with cotton fiber backing is suitable for rough/heavy-duty applications. All-purpose sanding belt featuring plyweld joint is used in grinding and finishing all metals, blending welds, sanding and finishing wood, glass seaming as well as polishing.
