- Norton® Charger™ R822 Type 27 40 Grit Jumbo Flap Disc measuring 4 1/2" Dia X 5/8" - 11 is made from superior performance zirconia alumina abrasive material. Disc with a speed of 13000 RPM is well suited for aggressive cutting, removal of light stock, blending and finishing applications. Disc having fiberglass backing offers enhanced durability by requiring less pressure for aggressive stock removal. Disc offering economical performance/price ratio is used on right angle and vertical shaft portable grinders. It provides almost up to 30% long life when compared to aluminum oxide flap discs.
