Norton® Red Heat® TwinStar™ R961 Type 27 40 Grit Flap Disc measuring 7" Dia X 5/8" - 11 is made from ceramic alumina/zirconia alumina abrasive material for durability. Flat disc with a speed of 8600 RPM features flexible red quick trim plastic backing plate to produce smooth finish and requires less pressure to work at maximum performance. Disc ideal for vertical shaft portable grinders eliminates the 2-step grinding/finishing process of depressed center wheel and resin fiber disc. It ensures maximum safety for all right angle grinders and offers 20% increased performance on mild carbon steel, ferrous metal, cast iron applications. Disc can be used for light stock removal, blending, finishing and uses each flap for enhanced performance. Disc is sold as 5 per pack.
