Norton® BLUEFIRE™ R884P Type 29 Conical 60 Grit Flap Disc measuring 4 1/2" Dia X 5/8"-11 is made from zirconia alumina abrasive material and is perfect for aggressive stock removal. Flap disc with a speed of 13300 RPM has durable fiberglass backing that absorbs vibration and provides high strength. Disc with angled flaps is used on both contoured as well as edge work. The angle offers high surface contact for stock removal on flat surfaces. It has semi-open coating that reduces loading on soft metals and wood. Flap disc is an economical choice where speed and stock removal are primary considerations. It is suitable for light to heavy pressure applications on a wide range of materials.
