United Abrasives Saitlam F™ Type 29 50X Grit 2A Conical Shape Aluminum Oxide Coated Flap Disc measuring 5" Dia X 7/8" has fiberglass backing. High performance disc with a speed of 12200 RPM offers lighter, more silent operation. It offers combination of grinding/blending through the use of thick layers of industrial quality abrasive cloth bound to a backing. Premium aluminum oxide grain has closed coat structure for more material removal and resin over resin bond construction offers resistant to heat, moisture. Fast, cool grinding without clogging or loading reduces heat build-up and discoloration of work piece. It combines the work of a depressed center grinding wheel and fiber discs to eliminate the need of two separate operations and finds its application in ferrous, non-ferrous metals. It is sold as 10 per box.
