Standard Abrasives 500 Series Type 532 6" Dia X 1/2" Fine Grade Silicon Carbide Grain Unitized Wheel with 1/2" arbor offers cut and consistent finish. Soft density wheel with 6000 RPM is designed for tough debarring, blending, finishing and polishing on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Wheel is bi-directional and can be mounted on a tool or pedestal grinder without consider to the spindle rotation direction. Wheel provides exceptional consistency while maintaining durability and is perfect for applications with strict dimension tolerances. Wheel is ideal for general-purpose cleaning, such as cleaning prior to painting, removing rust, discoloration from welds, minor pits and scratches, resins/adhesives overspray and coating. It is also used in polishing fillet areas on jet blades and polishing soft metals prior to coating process.
