Lenox® Armor® CT Black Carbide 15' Bandsaw Blade measuring 1 1/4" X 0.042" has 2.5/3.4 Vari-Tooth® TPI is excellent for extreme cutting rates. Blade is of high quality micro-grained carbide customized to cut a wide range of materials and has high-performance backing steel that offers excellent fatigue life. Aluminum, titanium and nitrogen are combined to form a coating that is hard and tough. Blade coating forces the heat into chips preferably than blade or work piece that provides protection to each tooth from heat and wear with an armor-like barrier. Blade has low thermal conductivity and offers minimized premature band breaks. It finds applications in cutting carbon steels, tool steels, alloy steels, titanium alloys, bearing steels, structural steels, aluminum, stainless steels, mold steels, bundled and mild steel tubing.
