3M™ Series 5700 5.4 mil Black/White Diagonal Stripe Safety Tape measuring 3" X 36 yd has rubber adhesive for good instant adhesion and to resist most common solvents. Stripe tape has 4.1 mil vinyl backing for wear-resistant stripes, good resistance to tape curl, easy to apply, adheres to a wide variety of substrates and used for safety/hazard marking. It can withstand temperature from 40 to 170 deg F and has 15 lb/in tensile strength. Tape is flexible, abrasion resistant, conformable, maintains color, versatile and moisture resistant.

Resists most common solvents, care should be taken to avoid ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and esters, found in lacquer thinners, degreasers, paint strippers, etc., which may cause the backing to swell or curl
Avoid using on highly plasticized materials which may result in adhesive softening and subsequent adhesion failure of tape
Best results are attained when applied to a clean, dry surface at temperatures between 60 deg to 80 deg F (16 deg to 27 deg C)
