- 3M™ 850 Series Red 1.9 mil Polyester Film Tape measuring 2" X 72 yd features acrylic adhesive to provide long time holding power and better adhesion strength. Tape with polyester backing is designed for splicing, holding/sealing and finds application in automotive, aerospace and military appliance. It is resistant to chemicals and high temperature.

- Prolonged exposure to sunlight or hot caustics will cause backing to become brittle and lose tensile strength
- Thin, high strength polyester film helps reduce failures due to breakage while meeting low caliper requirements
- Chemical and solvent resistance to help reduce rejects produced from chemical and solvent attack
