- 3M™ 1280 Series Red 3.6 mil Circuit Plating Tape measuring 3/4" X 72 yd features silicone/rubber blended adhesive for good instant adhesion. Tape with polyester backing is ideal for splicing of silicone treated papers. It has low stretch polyester film and is ideal for machine as well as hand applications. Tape is suitable for masking of many printed wiring boards during solder stripping and precious metal plating of fingers. Polyester backing of the tape reduces stretch and recovery of tape. Tape meets MSDS, TSCA certifications and RoHs/REACH complaints.
