- 3M™ 8663HS Series Matte Black 0.018" Protective Tape measuring 4" X 36 yd features acrylic adhesive that offers abrasion, erosion, scratch, puncture and impact resistant. Protective tape with polyurethane backing is designed for use in maximum operating temperature of 200 deg F and is ideal for helicopter rotor protection, fluid/corrosion barrier on aircraft flooring. Very tough, puncture resistant thermoplastic polyurethane material is suitable for outdoor industrial applications. Protective tape offers superior surface protection using a technology that contains no VOC's and is fast and effortless to apply. Protective tape features a tensile strength of 117 lb/in and has dual liner that facilitates effortless installation. It meets AS9100 standards.
