- 3M™ Series 396 4.1 mil Transparent Superbond Single Sided Film Transfer Tape measuring 1/2" X 36 yd comes with thick layer of rubber adhesive for good instant adhesion. Tape has polyester backing for quick grab, high strength and is used in splicing, insulating, edging, reinforcing, protecting, sealing, flash breaking, tabbing, roll closing, over labeling, electronics, automotive, aerospace, general Industries, web processing, solar, composites, military, appliance and transportation. It provides high tear resistance, good temperature resistance and has 18% elongation.
