- 3M™ 471 Series Purple 5.2 mil General Purpose Vinyl Tape measuring 2" X 36 yd features rubber adhesive for instant adhesion. Tape with pigmented backing is perfect for many lane and safety markings, color-coding, abrasion protection, masking, sealing, splicing and other general-purpose applications. Abrasion resistant tape has a temperature range of 40 to 170 deg F and is perfect for taping, wrapping or sealing many curved, convex or irregular surfaces.
