- 3M™ 8979 Series Blue 12.1 mil Performance Plus Duct Tape measuring 72 mm X 55 m features a rubber adhesive that is ideal for many surfaces including irregular surfaces. Duct tape with polyethylene film over cloth scrim backing is designed with magnificent moisture resistance and finds application in general maintenance, wrapping, sealing, sealing, holding, bundling, reinforcing, identifying, tabbing, wrapping, splicing and protecting, protecting and color-coding. Tape featuring good tensile strength and easy tear off by hand is ideal for use in tough application. It allows user to unwrap easily and keep edges clean in order to minimize surface contamination and tape waste.
