- 3M™ 9731 Series Clear 6.2 mil Bonding Tape measuring 3" X 36 yd features acrylic, silicone adhesive material that forms a bond when applied to a substrate, used for varying applications. Bonding tape with polyester backing is designed to offer magnificent resistance to abrasion, wear and is ideal for tough, outdoor application like aerospace or marine industries. It has rear Kraft paper liner material that aids user to peel away from to expose the adhesive material before applying to the substrate. Tape with maximum operating temperature of 250 deg F features a maximum adhesion strength of 42 oz/inch at faceside and 93 oz/inch at backside.
