3M™ Scotch® 35 Gray 7 mil Color Coding Electrical Tape 35 measuring 3/4" X 66' features pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive for good instant adhesion. Tape with polyvinyl chloride backing is used for temperatures up to 221 deg F and can be used in phase identification, color-coding of motor leads and piping systems and for marking safety areas. It has a breaking strength 17 lb/in and offers 225% elongation even at breaks. Tape protects electrical conductors, motor leads and piping against moisture, alkalis, acids, corrosion, abrasion and weather. It can be used for phase identification, job identification and safety, insulating electrical wiring and is certified by UL 510, CSA and meets C22.2 No. 197-M1983 standards.
