3M™ Scotch® Super 88 Black 8.5 mil Flame Retardant Electrical Tape 35 measuring 1 1/2" X 44' features pressure rubber adhesive for good instant adhesion. Tape has polyvinyl chloride backing that can be used for phase identification, job identification and safety, insulating electrical wiring applications. It has a tensile strength 20 lb/in and offers 250% elongation even at breaks and can be used for temperatures up to 220 deg F. 600 V Tape protects electrical conductors, motor leads and piping against moisture, alkalis, acids, corrosion, abrasion and weather. It has dielectric strength of 10000 V and is certified by UL 510, CSA and meets C22.2 No. 197-M1983 standards.

Compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, as well as epoxy and polyurethane resins
