  • 3M™ Temflex™ 1700 Series Black 7 mil General Use Electrical Insulating Tape measuring 3/4" X 36 yd features single-sided rubber based adhesive for good instant adhesion. Insulating tape with vinyl backing has a tensile strength of 17 lb/in, dielectric strength of 1000 V/mil and offers 200% elongation even at breaks. Economical tape provides good resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acid, copper corrosion and varying weather conditions. 600 V Flame retardant tape can be used for 176 deg F temperature and meets ASTM D 2301 Type 1, CSA 2.22 and UL 510 standards.
