It is ideally designed for general-purpose welding to provide low ductility, formability and lower toughness with low shrinkage rate/reduced distortion. It is associated with ER4043 class of wire.28 ksi Moderate strength wire has low melting temperature/high fluidity with low welding smut and discoloration to provide low hot cracking sensitivity in most applications. It finds applications in welding 6xxx alloys, automotive/motorcycle frames, sports products - scooters/bicycles, general repair and maintenance.
