Sandvik ER308/ER308L 0.035" Dia Sandvik Stainless Steel MIG Wire comes in a 2 lb spool and has good resistance to general corrosion. Wire is suitable for joining stainless steels of 18Cr/8Ni/ELC and 18Cr/8Ni/Nb types for service temperatures up to 350 deg C. Wire is also suitable for TIG, submerged arc welding and plasma arc welding. 19.9.L Wire has low carbon content and hence offers good resistance to intercrystalline corrosion as well as oxidizing agents. Wire features positive electrode that renders good penetration in all types of welded joints. Wire meets EN ISO 14343 and ASME/AWS SFA5.9 standards.

Sandvik 19.9.L is used for TIG, plasma arc welding and submerged arc welding
It is suitable for joining stainless steels of the 18Cr/8Ni/ELC, and 18Cr/8Ni/Nb types for service temperatures up to 350°C (660°F)
Sandvik 19.9.L is approved by TÜV-Rheinland for use at cryogenic temperatures down to 4°K (-269°C)
