Sandvik ER309Si/ER309LSi 0.035" Dia Sandvik Bare MIG Wire comes in a 10 lb spool and is ideal for joining stainless Cr-Ni steels of the ASTM 309 type, Cr-steels and dissimilar steels. Wire is used for TIG, MIG, submerged arc and plasma arc welding. Wire is suitable for joining stainless steel of 18Cr/8Ni type when higher corrosion resistance is required. Wire can also be used for joints between low alloyed or non alloyed steels where resistance to corrosion is of less importance. Wire features positive electrode that renders good penetration in all types of welded joints. Wire meets EN ISO 14343 and ASME/AWS SFA5.9 standards.
