  • Lincoln Electric® Wearshield® 44 5/32" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb cardboard carton and has average hardness to render resistant to abrasion with impact up to 1100 deg F. Electrode with higher alloys provides improved spalling resistance with for limited 2 - 4 layers. It can be used to weld in flat and horizontal welding positions with all-position ability. It can be used on carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast irons, austenitic manganese steels and stainless steels. It gives high operator appeal by rendering easy restrike and slag removal design that makes cleaning easier. It finds applications ingot tongs, buckets, chain links, rolling mill guides, pulleys, scrapers, hammers and blades.
