- Castolin Eutectic® EutecTrode® Xuper 2222 XHD 3/32" Dia Nickel Electrode comes in an 11 lb box. Electrode is used as flame hardening equipment, heat-treating trays and baskets, kiln tire repairs, ingot tongs, continuous casting molds and related equipment. Electrode is designed for use with flame hardening equipment and is formulated for high speed welding of critically stressed applications. Easily handled electrode ideal for welding large cross sections has deposits that exhibit superior crack resistance and ductility. Electrode maintains high tensile strength of 90000 psi and yield strength of 65000 psi.
