- Stoody® Castweld™ 55 CTD 3/32" Dia x 9" Shielded Metal Arc Welding Electrode comes in a 5 lb pack and is designed for use on worn cast iron parts needing build up or joining but not requiring tight dimensional control or machining. Electrode is ideal for joining or builds up of cast iron parts, engine blocks, pump housings and assorted castings. Shielded metal arc welding electrode has good tolerance for the high phosphorus frequently found in cast iron to dissimilar metals.
