- Lincoln Electric® Metalshield® MC-110 Gas Shielded Metal Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 0.045" Dia features low spatter and excellent arc stability for gas-shielded metal core welding. Wire is ideal for all positions and is welded with mixed shielding gas. Metal shield welding wire with deoxidizing agents minimizes pre and post-weld clean up. Features enhanced silicon island management and H4 diffusible hydrogen level. Welding wire having excellent bead shape and profile features low temperature impact properties like charpy V-notch test results capable of exceeding 40 J at -51 deg C. Areas of application include robotics/hard automation, HSLA and quenched and tempered steels, crane fabrication, heavy equipment and pressure vessels. It is normally associated with E110C-K4 H4. Wire comes in a plastic spool of 33 lb.
